| Welcome to Animal Art Tanning -Notice- I am in the process of building a new shop and temporarily cannot accept tanning orders. Please check back later. I have been doing my own in-house tanning for four years. I greatly prefer the feel of my own wet tanned skins over the thicker "leather" feel of commercially tanned skins. I'm sure many other taxidermists feel the same. However, not everyone has the time to do their own tanning. Send your capes and skins to me and I will tan them for you. I use only the best quality tanning products from Rittels. All skins are shaved on the fleshing machine for superior stretch and workability. Your skins will be tanned with EZ-100, which creates a white leather with plenty of stretch and minimal shrinkage. Finally, they are oiled with Pro Plus tanning oil. From there, I can ship them immediately to you (wet tan) or dry the skins and ship (dry tan). |
