Hi, and welcome to my website. My name is Amy Ritchie-Carter. I am a 20 year old taxidermist located in Statesville, North Carolina.
I am a licensed taxidermist, and a member of the North Carolina and National Taxidermists Associations. I have been doing taxidermy for over seven years, specializing in small mammals and gameheads. I go to many competitions which every year which can include state, national, and world levels. I have been competing in shows for six years. In 2003 I won the National Champion small mammal title at the Nationals in Kentucky, and in 2007 I won Judges Choice Best of Show at the NC State Show.
Taxidermy is more than just a business to me - it is my passion! Nothing makes me more proud that producing a beautiful mount that will be enjoyed forever. Over the years I have done many mounts for local, as well as out-of-town customers.
