This
is the second method for skinning the foot, and it
is often preferred. This method takes a little
more time and is more risky, but if done
correctly, will result in a better mount.
Carefully skin down the whole foot until the toes
are reached. You may have to use your razor to
loosen the skin. When the toes are reached, clip
the skin right before the toes with your scissors.
When the animal is mounted, clay will be
inserted into the foot to reshape it. |
